Life Balance – 10 Ways to Get it Back

Life BalanceDo you remember the last time you put your clothes in the washer and they got out of balance?  With the bulk of the garments shifted to one side, the washing machine will slowly start spinning off center, until, at the peak of spin cycle, the whole metal box is shaking and gyrating like it was possessed by demons!

The same thing happens in life.  Often we spend all our time working.  Our social life is non-existent and we are not taking care of our health.

10 Ways to Know You are Out of Balance

1. When you do get home from work, do your spouse and children ask you your name?

2. Does your list of current friends only have your pet’s name on it?

3. Are you having a hard time sleeping or sleeping well?

4. Do you run late to meetings and appointments?

5. Is your work area cluttered?

6. Do you stay late at work because you want to stand out and prove you are a team player?

7. Do you have more appointments than you can comfortably handle?

8. Are you out of shape?

9. Do you notice that you lose your temper?

10. Do you obsess on detail, needing perfection in all you do?

10 Ways to Get Back in Balance

1. Take a day to clear the clutter.

2. Schedule your week and enter in time for the 3 Big F’s.  Your friends, family and fun.

3. Schedule in some physical activity that you will find pleasing.

4. Practice Intentional Breathing.

5. Meditate.  It really works.

6. Find time for gratitude.

7. Take no more than 5 minutes to mentally review your day to access how you can do better.  Once you have extracted any needed lessons, let go and resolve to make tomorrow even better.

8. Schedule an event you would love to do for next month.  You will have something to look forward to.

9. Call an old friend.

10. Set a limit on how much you are going to work.  Do not get so busy working for your future that you let what you have now slip by unappreciated.

Life Balance Infused With a Little Fun

Decide what is important to you and make a conscious effort to allocate time to those things, all of them and in equal measures.  When your life is in balance and you infuse it with a little fun, you will be able to enjoy what you already have and create even greater results than you imagined.

Thanks and have a wonderful day.

7 Steps to Instant Attitude of Gratitude

attitude of gratitudeWhy is gratitude good for us? With an attitude of gratitude, we will achieve success more easily, we will be happy, it contributes to our health and wellness and we have increased life balance. All great reasons, and there is soooo much to be grateful for.

But if we aren’t feeling grateful, how do we get grateful? Hmmmm

Well I’ve got a few good ideas!

1. Gratitude Awareness

Start with gratitude awareness – just be aware that you have many things to be grateful for. That’s a great first step.

2. Gratitude List

A gratitude list is another great way to remind yourself of all that is going right in your life. Remember to add to it often.

3. Draw Gratitude Into Your Heart

How about taking just 5 minutes, setting a timer and sitting someplace quiet while deliberately drawing feelings of gratitude into your heart. This is a very powerful practice that increases your health and over all well-being.

4. Rampage of Gratitude

I LOVE the rampage of gratitude! This is where you don’t just read your gratitude list, you really get into the feelings of gratitude and let the energy of your gratitude super charge you. Look for a blog and a video detailing how to elicit your own rampage of gratitude to be coming soon. This is a secret super power that will really open you to the energy of achieving great success.

5. Share Your Gratitude

You can share your gratitude by offering everyone you meet a smile, performing random acts of kindness or simply giving someone a heart-felt compliment. By sharing with someone that you are grateful to have them in your world, you get super charged with happiness yourself.

6. Send Your Gratitude

When you send your thanks by way of a letter, a note or mailed gift, something special happens for you and the recipient of your kind thoughts. Don’t you agree that there is something really cool about getting personalize mail? It makes us feel special because someone took the time and effort for you. And when you engage in this practice, you have the prolonged effects of feeling good when you send it and every day for the next week while you anticipate the joy you are bringing to someone you care about! Or what about sending anonymous notes to strangers, letting them know that they are pretty great and offering a smile face and kind word?

7. Live in a State of Gratitude

This one takes practice, but once you achieve success in doing so, you may feel like there is a slice of heaven here on earth. And it resides in your heart.

So why not develop an attitude of gratitude and find balance in life, improve your health and overall wellness, find you achieve greater success with less effort and be happier than ever before?

Thanks and have a wonderful day.

Endless Possibilities, Hope and a New Start

Life Coach Cassi Eubank here wishing you a Happy New Year from Boca Raton, Florida.

The New Year is a wonderful time because it represents a new start, hope and the possibility of change. Do you feel that too?

Greater Possibilities

Maybe that is why I love everything about the New Year. It lines up with all my beliefs. That we can always have a fresh start, just by saying we can. That the possibilities for us are greater than we usually realize. And that we can change and have an extraordinary life!

While we can do this any time we choose to, it seems the when the ball drops in Times Square, a door closes on the last 12 months and we are able to look ahead.

So why then, does this new hope and this elated feeling of possibilities seem to fade faster than my tan after a Mexican vacation?

Fuel Your Good Intentions with Passion

It’s because we set goals with good intentions, but they don’t have passion fueling them. The kind of passion that only comes when you are connected to your true purpose.

Think about it for a second. If you are connected with your true purpose, you get really excited, and with that comes passion. We know what we want, we know why we want it and we cannot wait to bring life to our vision. We cannot wait to get up and start doing the things we need to do to bring this dream to fruition. We don’t feel like we are working, we’re just having fun at life. What is that saying, “When you love your work you never work another day in your life!”

Any way….. My wish for you this New Year is that you find your purpose, connect with your passion and live an extraordinary life.

Please connect with me  I have a free eBook on overcoming the obstacles to success and I would love to share my secrets with you!

Happy New Year to one and to all!

Gratitude is Kryptonite to Fear

I’m very excited to give you my tricks and tips on helping you overcome your fear and I think you’ll find it very useful. Do you realize that gratitude is kryptonite to fear? It really is. So, one of the best things we can do, is get grateful about the things in our life.

Overcoming Fear – Clear Your Fear Video Series Day 4 of 10

I have talked about observing your thoughts – that’s very key in helping you to get over your fears.

Just observe them, don’t judge them.

Notice your thoughts, because your thoughts equal your emotions and if you watch your thoughts, and you monitor them – just observe them without judgment – pretty soon, you’ll start thinking, ‘this thought doesn’t really serve me’.

You’ll start choosing better thoughts, all on your own.  Observing your thoughts is one way we can overcome fear. Gratitude is the biggest thing you can do for yourself to help overcome fear.

It truly is kryptonite.

Make a Gratitude List

With a gratitude list, you simply write down all the things that you’re grateful for.

Now, that can be friends, family, vacations that you’ve taken or vacations that are up-and-coming. It can be a butterfly, flitting around outside the window, while you’re working one day. Anything. There’s so many things to be grateful for, even squirrels. I get grateful watching little squirrels with their little bushy tails, as they run across the road.

So, so many little and big things, to get grateful for in our lives.

So that gratitude list is really going to be a very important part in helping you overcome your fear.

Rampage of Gratitude

Now, to take that one step further, you can do the ‘Rampage Of Gratitude’. Now, the Rampage Of Gratitude is where you actually infuse that gratitude list with emotion, wonderful, appreciative, loving, grateful emotion.

So, I’ve done a video on that, be sure to check my other videos on Rampage of Gratitude, if you want to see how that’s done.

Here’s a quick little example:  if I were going to be doing a Rampage of Gratitude about my dog, it would be something like, ‘I love my dog so much, he is just so cute. Rocky’s got these big bat ears, and I love to pet him, I really do, he’s so soft and furry, and he’s just the sweetest dog ever. I’d love to hold him and hug him’.

So, one, not only writing the name of your dog on the list, but actually thinking about your dog with gratitude and loving feelings, do that with each of the items on your list.

  • Go through, and spend a couple of minutes on each item.
  • Really get grateful, for having that person, that experience, in your life, whatever it is, that’s on your list.

Bliss List

A Bliss List is one of my favorites. It is a list of things that you like doing.

So, it might be:

  1. Playing volleyball at the beach
  2. Just be being at the beach
  3. Going out and dancing with your girlfriends
  4. A good dinner with friends
  5. Traveling
  6. Anything that you love doing.

Just the thought of doing it makes you happy – that goes on your Bliss List.

Here’s an important tip: make sure you schedule one thing in every single week, that’s on your Bliss List.  Put that on your to-do list. Throw that in your calendar, it’s wonderful to always have something to look forward to.

Vision Boards

Vision Boards, if you don’t already know, is basically, just getting a whiteboard, and putting up pictures of all the things you want to bring into your future existence. So, it might be a boat, it might be a trip to Paris, it might be a new home.

But, just looking at those things, and then just imagining that you’ve already achieved those goals, or obtained those things, or you’re in Paris now. Imagine being there, imagination is a great tool for helping us get where we want to go.

Not only that, it’s fun!  Remember when you were a kid, and you were daydreaming all the time?

That’s when life really gets good!

Write a Thank You Note

Now, you can call somebody and thank them, that’s always a great thing to do, but there’s something about writing it out, let them know what they’ve done, to really make a difference in your life.

Let them know why they’re important to you.

And thank somebody, and send them that handwritten card. You’d be amazed at how good you’re going to feel, sending somebody else a thank you note! It’s fantastic!

Gratitude Picture

Also, this is another one that I’ve come up with, that I love: a gratitude picture.

Now, when I say ‘gratitude picture’, I got a digital picture frame, and it re-cycles different pictures, so you might have a hundred, two hundred pictures in there.

Rather than a gratitude list, all those things that you’re grateful for, why not have pictures of them, in one digital picture frame.

And, as it randomly throws up one picture after another, every time you glance at it, there might be something that you’d forgotten about, that will bring a smile to your face, ‘oh, that’s right, I remember that trip, it was awesome!’

So, a digital gratitude picture – I guess that’s the best way to put it.

Tony Robbins

Lastly, I’m going to leave you with Tony Robbins – great place to leave you, he does this emotional flood exercise. So if you go onto YouTube, and you type in Tony Robbins emotional flood exercise, check that out. He does such an amazing job with helping you bring gratitude into your heart, and gratitude truly is kryptonite for fear.

So, make gratitude part of your daily practice, get rid of the fear, get in touch with who you are, and live the life of your dreams; because if you’re not living, fearless and free, to me, you’re not really living!

And that’s what I really want for you.

Thanks and have a wonderful day.

Overcome Your Fear and Turn Your Mistakes into Your Greatest Life Lessons

I want to talk to you about something I am passionate about which is overcoming your fears. The reason it’s so important is that we only get one chance in life. Every day is a new beginning and when we know that we have infinite possibilities. We can do, have or be anything that we want.

Life gets really good. It gets really exciting. And I want that for you.

Today we are going to talk about thoughts in the past.

Overcoming Fear – Clear Your Fear Video Series Day 2 of 10

I’ve talked about how fear is an emotion and our emotions are derived from our thoughts, so lets take a look about what we are thinking about when our thoughts are in the past rather than our thoughts of now or our thoughts of the future.

Resentments and Regrets

When we think about the past, we can have resentments, we can have regrets, we can have negative memories OR we can have happy memories.

I’ve mentioned before that everything is energy so if we have positive thoughts, that’s going to be positive energy and move us closer to our goals.  If we have negative thoughts – that’s negative energy and it’s going to move us away from our goals.

So the idea is to have positive thoughts.

Positive Thoughts

It isn’t just positive thoughts, you can learn to use your positive thoughts as tools to build your future.

It’s really pretty cool stuff.

When we are thinking about the past and our thoughts are negative it doesn’t serve us in any way.

Often times those negative thoughts come in the way of resentments. We resent somebody for something they’ve done or something we perceive they’ve done.

Be Thankful

But if we realize that every action that’s been to us, against us, or for us has made us who we are – has made us the perfect and divine creation that we are. Then in a sense that’s something that we can thank people for.

Or at least not let it bother us.

When they do something to us – that’s their Karma. They are doing something to us and maybe we are a victim for a second. But when we allow them to continue to victimize us through resentment, they’re not victimizing us. We are victimizing ourselves.

We are allowing them to continue hurting us. Instead of being the victim, why not be the victor? Put those thoughts aside. Whatever happened, it made you who you are. Move on. There are better times ahead.

Still Learning

What about regrets? Mistakes that we think we’ve made?

When we look back, things happen that we don’t always have the desired outcome that we want. You know?

And that’s o.k. because we still learn.

So if everything that’s not had the desired outcome, everything you’ve looked at as a mistake has a lesson in it for you. If you’ve learned something, if it’s made you stronger. If it’s made you better. If you’ve had any kind of growth in it. Then at that point, it’s become a great lesson.

Greatest Life Lessons

Some of your greatest mistakes turn into your greatest life lessons.

How cool is that?

So look at them as a positive thing, something that has helped you grow, something that has helped shape your life and get you to where you are now.

Then just look back at your happy memories, the good times. Things that have happened in your life. Times that you felt good. Times when you were laughing with your friends. Times when you felt loved.

Those are the times that you want to focus on and think about. Those are the things you want to set your mind to.

There are ten days to the Clear Your Fear video series, so stick with it because it’s one of the most important things you can do.

I would love it if you reach out and connect with me further.

Have the best day ever!

Overcome Your Fear so You Can Begin to Make Decisions That Nourish Your Soul

I’m very passionate about helping people overcome fear. Overcoming your fear is one of the most important things you can do for yourself.

So many times in life, people make choices about what they think they want to do, or what they want in their life, that are based on limiting beliefs and fears. They might choose a job because they think that’s the job they can get. They think going for the job they really want, the job that would nourish their soul, is impossible.

If you get rid of those limiting beliefs, and get rid of those fears, then you’re free to make decisions that are going to nourish your soul.

Overcoming Fear – Clear Your Fear Video Series Day 1 of 10

Make the best decision for yourself – it also clears your path so that you have an open and direct line of communication to the abundance.

How cool is that?

This is why, as a life coach, I’m very passionate about helping people overcome their fear.

Where Does Fear Come From?

When we’re born, as babies, we’re connected with the Infinite Source.  God, The Universe, the Source Of All Knowledge, whatever you want to call it. We’re connected. We breathe. We lay there, we breathe, and we’re just happy BEING.

Our breath connects us with the universe.  As we get older, we start interfacing with this world.  We hear things like “you can’t do that”, or, “wait a second, you’re too young”, “you’re too small”, you’re too this, you’re too that. All of a sudden, we start believing these things.

Now, beliefs are simply thoughts that we tell ourselves over and over again, until we actually believe them. It doesn’t mean that they’re true.

What Limiting Beliefs are You Telling Yourself?

We keep these limiting beliefs and then we start telling those things to ourselves.  We say things like “that is so bad.” Instead say “It is so not good.”

One of the things I like to do is monitor my thoughts and monitor my words, and it is so not good when you have limiting beliefs like that. When you clear yourself of those limiting beliefs, that’s when life starts getting good, and that’s what I want for you.

Fear is Our Response to the World

So, fear, basically, is our response to the world, it’s our way of dealing with the world, it’s our way of protecting ourselves, from what we think is going on around us.

We don’t want to risk trying something new, because what if people laugh at us? We don’t want to try a new venture, because what if we fail?  These are our thoughts. But they’re just thoughts.

Fear is an Emotion

Fear is an emotion but our emotions come from our thoughts. The good news is that we can monitor our thoughts by becoming aware of them, by basically using thought awareness. We can then change our thoughts.

When we change our thoughts, then we can change our emotions, which is really exciting.

So for today, I just want to leave you with this…

Our emotions are generated from our thoughts so just go into the day observing your thoughts. Ask yourself  these questions:

  • Am I thinking thoughts that are going to pull me closer to my goals?
  • Am I thinking positive thoughts?
  • Am I thinking thoughts that are going to raise my vibrational energy?

Or, am I choosing thoughts that are going to limit me? That are going to pull me away from my goals? That are going to cage me? And trap me.  And what is it that I think I can do versus having the ability to do, have, or be anything?

You can do, have, or be anything once you find that mindset.

That’s the goal of this ten series of videos. It is to help you learn a little more about fear and become aware of it.  I’m giving you tricks and tips to overcome your fears.

How cool is that?

Well, it’s very cool, let me tell you. It’s very cool.

So do stick with me, I’ve got nine videos coming up after this one. I will be talking about fear and ways we can clear our fear, ways we can overcome our fear. I’m so passionate about it.

Monitor Your Thoughts

This week I want you to just monitor your thoughts.

Every time you get a thought that’s negative, think “is this thought serving me” and “how can I flip that?”.  If you are thinking, “this isn’t possible”, instead think, “how can I make this possible?”.

You will open up all kinds of possibilities.

Thanks so much, and have the best day ever!

Comparing Yourself To Others Is The Beginning Of Unhappiness

Comparing yourself to others is the beginning of unhappiness.  We each have our own unique talents and abilities. Now I fully believe that all of us is capable of learning, doing or being anything we wish to, it is just that each of us has different preferences. Because of these differences, we spend more time doing the activities that we enjoy and derive pleasure from. The more time we spend working and playing with a skill, the better we become at it.

Each of us also has many similarities. One thing that seems to plague the human race is the way we use comparing to make us feel bad. Hopefully, you can become aware of how silly and useless comparing can be and learn to use it properly to keep you on track. There is one situation where looking at where self scrutiny is a good thing. But first, let’s look at this strange custom we indulge in.

But for some insane reason we tend to also use this as a weapon against ourselves. Once we compare ourselves to another person, we don’t just stop there. We don’t just observe the differences. We have to take it one step further and judge. Sometimes, if we are the one who “appears better off”, this judgment gives us a false sense of superiority. But more often than not, we judge ourselves, and very harshly, when we make personal comparisons.

Seriously, think about it. When we notice a person with something considered desirable that we do not have, or see another with something better than what we have, we somehow twist our thoughts and talk ourselves into believing that what they have reflects on our own self worth.

They have a bigger house

They have a more expensive car

She has a skinnier waist line

He has a better job

They go on more vacations to better places

Any of these thoughts should serve as a warning that you need to start thinking about all the many blessings that are in your life right now. The problem with allowing our minds to stray to the what others have is that we inadvertently shift from all that “they” have, to what we do not have.

Looking at what you lack is not a good idea for many reasons. First of all, when you start thinking about how you should be further along in life, how you should have a better car, how you deserve a larger house with a pool, how does it make you feel? I know it makes me feel pretty crumby. If I were to indulge in such nonsense, it would make me a little depressed and lower my vibrational frequency. It would drain my energy and joy. So why in the world would I do this? It serves no purpose to compare yourself to other, but it sure can do you harm.

And a lack mindset will bring more lack to you. Why would you do something that takes away from what you do have? The law of attraction works whether we believe in it or not. Every action you take brings you closer or further from what you desire on life. Why would you do that to yourself?

When you compare an apple to an orange, you will note the differences in texture, taste, smell and how you remove the skin to eat it. But you do not get upset with the apple for not being more like the orange. Nor do you get mad at the orange for not being like the apple. They are both awesome! Can you see how foolish it is to attach a negative, destructive emotion to comparing? Note your strengths and weaknesses so you can capitalize on your assets.

Here are 5 easy things you can do to break this  impulse.

Recognize that you are comparing yourself. Becoming aware and reminding yourself the devastating effects this activity can have is the first step to freeing yourself of it.

Ask yourself why you are doing this and if it is helping you in anyway.

Make a gratitude list and count your blessings daily.

Enjoy what is going on around you. Take pleasure in where you now are and get excited about what is to come.

Make a “Yeah, I’m Bad A$$ List” and write down all yourstrengths. Any time you accomplish something or do something good, note it! Write it down and refer to this list to remind yourself how much you rock!

Remember, you are awesome. You are special and you have many, many gifts. If you want a skinnier waist, make it a priority. If you want a better vacation, you could research ways to go in the off season to make it affordable. You can get to where you want to be and there is only one person you should be comparing yourself to. That is the person you were yesterday.

When you look at where you want to go, and set a course, it is a good idea to check in frequently. It’s like reading the road signs on a road trip. You want to make sure you are on track. But this is YOUR life. Do the things that make you happy. Be the best person that you can be. Make the choices that will mold you into the best version of you. Make the choices that will allow you to create the life of your dreams.
